Job description

About Us:

At Reusables, we’re driven by a vision of a waste-free world and recognize the urgent need to address the environmental impact of our current systems and habits. We believe that meaningful change requires institutions to offer frictionless systems that make sustainability effortless and tangible.

What began as a grassroots initiative offering reusable takeout containers to restaurants and cafes in Vancouver, has since grown into an enterprise technology platform reaching institutions across North America. Today, Reusables is helping to eliminate thousands of tons of single-use waste each year, empowering businesses to join the journey toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.

As a venture-backed and mission-driven company, we are passionate about making impact at scale. We are a young, weirdly talented group of ‘high-octane’ individuals that are relentlessly focused on the planet, people, and profit – in that order.

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to build strong relationships, drive client success, and ensure seamless adoption of Reusables.com’s platform and services. As the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, you will act as a strategic partner—guiding clients through onboarding, optimizing their experience, and identifying opportunities for growth. Think of yourself as our customers' best friend. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy problem-solving with a hands-on approach, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand clients' goals, challenges, and operational needs, offering proactive solutions.
  • Roll up your sleeves to help clients navigate challenges, fostering deeper connections.

Onboarding & Adoption

  • Lead clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Educate clients on platform features and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to maximize product adoption and satisfaction.

Account Growth

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and account expansion.
  • Partner with the sales team to manage renewals and contract extensions.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies tailored to client needs.

Feedback & Advocacy

  • Serve as the voice of the customer, sharing insights with product and marketing teams.
  • Advocate for client needs to influence product development and improvements.

Performance Tracking

  • Monitor client engagement and account health metrics.
  • Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions.
  • Prepare reports on account performance, satisfaction, and growth opportunities.

What You’ll Bring To The Team:

  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS or tech-enabled business.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, empathy, and strategic thinking.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and customer success platforms.

Please note: This role requires 3-5 days of travel per month across North America.

Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 Base + Commission + Stock Options

If your background doesn’t perfectly align with the qualifications listed, but you’re confident in your ability to excel in this role, we still want to hear from you! At Reusables, we value diverse experiences and unique perspectives, so don’t hesitate to apply if you believe you can make a meaningful impact.

We sincerely appreciate the time and effort of all applicants who express interest in joining our team. While we carefully review each application, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Thank you for considering Reusables as your next career opportunity!

Why You’ll Love Working At Reusables:

  • Benefits package provided by Pacific Blue Cross (dental, vision, health)
  • Membership to Outdoor Prolink for discounted outdoor gear
  • Beautiful co-working space in Mt Pleasant in Vancouver, BC!

Why Join Us:

The ocean already contains 165 million tonnes of plastic, and by 2050, plastic waste could outweigh fish. While recycling is often touted as the solution, only 5% of plastic is actually recycled in the U.S. (9% in Canada). Governments and businesses worldwide are banning single-use plastics and committing to zero-waste solutions by 2030.

Reusable packaging is the most sustainable alternative, but adoption has been hindered by cost and operational complexity. Reusables.com removes these barriers, offering a scalable, tech-enabled solution for food businesses.

DEI Statement:

At Reusables, we are building products for a diverse world, and we need a diverse team to do that successfully. We strongly encourage applications from everyone regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability status.

Accessibility Statement:

Reusables provides an accessible candidate experience. If you need any accommodations or adjustments throughout the interview process and beyond, please let us know, and we will work with you to provide the necessary support and make reasonable accommodations to facilitate your participation.
