For accommodation needs, please contact at any stage of the hiring process.Visit our Careers at CLBC page to learn more about working at CLBC, what we offer, and tips for the interview process.About the Role:Reporting to Manager, Project Portfolio Management, this role is responsible for leading the implementation and adoption activities that support successful delivery of projects within the Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO).The Project Implementation & Adoption Lead plays a key role in ensuring that new initiatives, processes, and technologies are effectively integrated into the organization and the sector and embraced by impacted teams (internal and external interest holders). This role combines strong change management expertise with practical project management experience to support smooth transitions and maximize the realization of project benefits.Key responsibilities:Leads the planning and execution of implementation and adoption activities to support successful project delivery and organizational and sector readiness and sustained adoption by internal and eternal interest holders.Conducts impact assessments to identify affected internal and external groups, anticipated challenges, readiness needs and required supports.Develops adoption roadmaps, communication plans, and transition strategies aligned with project objectivesBuilds strong relationships with project sponsors, leaders, and internal and external interest holders to support engagement and alignment throughout the change process to support the Project and Program Managers.Applies an understanding of CLBC's operating environment, including individuals and families, service providers, community partners, government, and other internal and external interest holders, to inform engagement, communication and change management approaches.Translates complex project impacts, technical information, and process changes into clear, practical and accessible messages tailored for internal teams, external partners, service providers, individuals and families, and other impacted groups.Partners with Project and Program Managers to integrate adoption and implementation activities into overall project plans, timelines, and deliverablesDocuments project risk and issue tracking by identifying people‑related risks and recommending strategies to address them.Develops project documentation - including charters, plans, status updates, and dashboards - where needed.Collaborates with the Project Portfolio Management Office (PPMO) to ensure alignment of adoption practices across the portfolio.Contributes to the development, refinement, and standardization of tools, templates, and processes related to implementation and adoption.Tracks lessons learned and emerging challenges to support continuous improvement in change and implementation practices.What you will bring:Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, project management, or related field Minimum of 3 years' direct experience in project implementation, adoption support, organizational transitions, or related project delivery rolesDirect experience in Change Management implementation, communication, or engagement activities involving internal and external interest holders Project Management or Change Management designation is an asset Experience in a public sector organization is an asset Training or certification in facilitation, project management, communication, or organizational development is an assetWe are also looking for:Knowledge of project management and implementation practices Understanding of project delivery frameworks Knowledge of organizational operations and workflowsAbility to coordinate and execute implementation and adoption activitiesAbility to build relationships and collaborate effectively Ability to analyze project impacts and translate them into practical readiness or adoption requirements for a variety of interest holders Strong conflict resolution, consensus building, and relationship management skillsDemonstrated critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and adaptive problem-solving skills Strong presentation and reporting skills, including the ability to prepare dashboards, status updates, and executive-level materials.Benefits: A rewarding career at CLBC comes with great benefits, including:Employer-paid extended health and dental planA BC Public Service Pension plan with employer contributionsGenerous vacation plus additional personal daysPaid maternity/parental/adoption leaveLife insurance, paid sick days, and, if needed, long-term disabilityWellness supports, including an Employee and Family Assistance ProgramProfessional development funds and resources to encourage continuous learning and skill developmentAccess to government discounts on travel, cell phones, and more!Additional InfoOccasional travel across the province may be requiredPossession of a Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract is requiredSuccessful applicants are subject to a Criminal Record CheckAn eligibility list for internal candidates may be establishedIf your application is shortlisted, you'll be invited to an interview where you'll have the opportunity to share more about your experience.
