  • Community-minded culture – Receive two paid days per year to volunteer and lots of opportunity to “Pay it Forward”.
  • Time and flexibility to meet your needs – Hybrid work model with flexible work options, plus 3 weeks vacation to start, flex time and parental leave benefits.
  • Cool perks – Annual Lifestyle Spending Account, fun office environment and events, and more!
PROVIDE AN EXCEPTIONAL CLIENT SERVICE – IT’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Build strong client relationships – Payworks takes pride in delivering superior client service to businesses across Canada. As an Implementation Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for client administrators, guiding them through the Payworks product with expert advice and payroll best practices in mind. Through active listening, effective questioning and clear communication, you will conduct a thorough needs analysis to identify client needs, uncover opportunities, and proactively address any challenges that arise. You will also facilitate comprehensive training for new clients, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to effectively use Payworks’ solutions.
  • Implement great products – You will facilitate the entire client implementation process, from data entry and training to equipment delivery, first go-live and continuing support. You will develop a deep understanding of all modules within the Payworks product suite including Payroll, Attendance Management, Time Management, Human Resources, Reporting, and Applicant Tracking to ensure each client’s setup reflects their specific needs. With a keen attention to detail, you will gather and apply client-specific product requirements, ensuring accurate database setup and maintaining the integrity of critical information.

Your ability to collaborate and problem-solve will contribute to a high-performing team environment.

We will provide a solid training experience to set you up for success, including the option to gain your Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation through Payworks’ close partnership with the National Payroll Institute (NPI)!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Proven administrative and/or customer service experience, ideally with a focus on needs analysis and delivering a positive client onboarding experience.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

  • A commitment to quality, accuracy and delivering solutions that add value.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively leverage available tools and support systems.
  • Strong planning, organizational and time management skills to manage shifting priorities, handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Keen attention to detail, with experience working with large datasets while maintaining accuracy and a high standard of quality.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively and confidently present solutions.

BONUS SKILL SET

  • Previous experience implementing workforce management solutions or similar software is preferred. Specific knowledge of the Payworks application and internal tools is a strong asset.
  • PCP Certification or related studies, or equivalent combination of education and experience, would be considered an asset.
  • Fluency in French will be an asset.
