  • Perform security reviews of new systems, applications, and third-party integrations
  • Develop and test incident response plans and business continuity procedures

Physical Security Liaison

  • Collaborate with facilities management on building security matters
  • Ensure alignment between physical and cyber security controls
  • Support security requirements for classified and controlled environments

Awareness & Advisory

  • Deliver security awareness training and phishing simulations
  • Provide expert guidance to project teams on security requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer security inquiries and audits

Who are we looking for?

Essential

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification

  • Demonstrated experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST -, CMMC, CPCSC, or defence standards (e.g., DEF STAN 05-)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft E5 security stack (Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra ID, Microsoft XDR and SIEM)
  • Experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and security monitoring
  • Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance (Canada: Secret + Controlled Goods; UK: SC)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the security function

Desirable

  • Experience in aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with DEF STAN 05- or CMMC requirements
  • Knowledge of operational technology (OT) security principles
  • Experience supporting classified programmes or working in cleared environments
  • Additional certifications such as CISM, CCSP, or Microsoft security certifications
  • Experience mapping controls across multiple compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST to ISO, CMMC to customer standards)
