Job Posting: Static Mobile Tactical Security Guard
Location: Scarborough, Ontario – Casino Sites 🕒 Position Type: Night Shifts – Rotating Schedule

Compensation: Starting at 17.95 to$18.75/hour (based on experience and certifications; (includes applicable premiums))

About the Role:

LTS Protective Services is seeking dedicated, professional, and experienced Static Mobile Tactical Security Guards to join our team serving casino sites in the Scarborough area.

The successful candidates will conduct mobile and foot patrols, maintain site security, enforce access control procedures, respond to incidents, and ensure all assigned locations are monitored according to client requirements.

Candidates must demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols at assigned client locations.
• Monitor and secure properties by scanning NFC checkpoints and inspecting access points.
• Follow site-specific procedures, client instructions, and LTS policies.
• Respond to emergencies, alarms, trespassing, and other security incidents.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity summaries.
• Contact emergency services or local authorities when required.
• Address unauthorized persons on private property in accordance with applicable laws and site procedures.
• Ensure all assigned sites are patrolled within their scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain regular communication with Dispatch and the Operations team.
• Perform access control duties and assist clients and site staff as required.
• Safely operate company vehicles and maintain all required vehicle and patrol records.

Required Qualifications and Certifications

Candidates must hold and maintain the following valid credentials:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, with a physical or digital copy available while on duty.
• Valid Ontario G Class driver's licence in good standing.
• Current driver's abstract acceptable to company insurance.
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.
• AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) training.
• WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) training.
• Smart Serve certification.
• Resistance Management Systems and Use of Force certification, including baton and handcuff training, through Stay Safe or an LTS-approved provider.
• Ministry of Labour Health and Safety Awareness Training.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, in accordance with applicable LTS policy and requirements.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be at least 25 years of age to meet the company's vehicle insurance requirements.
• Minimum of two years of experience in mobile or tactical security.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and maintain accurate records.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure.
• High standards of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.

Mandatory Uniform and Equipment

Employees are responsible for acquiring and maintaining the required uniform and equipment:

• Black cargo pants.
• LTS grey short-sleeve security shirt.
• LTS 2-in-1 tactical jacket.
• CSA-approved black tactical boots.
• LTS-approved Level IIIA body armour/vest, subject to management approval and applicable requirements.
• Tactical duty belt with inner belt.
• Handcuffs and baton, following the required training and authorization.
• Epaulettes and security ID badge.
• Reflective safety vest.

Note: Employees who already own suitable equipment may submit it for management inspection and approval before use.

Training Requirements

Candidates must either hold the required certifications or be willing to complete the applicable training:

• Day 1: Resistance Management Systems.
• Day 2: Use of Force training, including baton and handcuff certification.

Required certifications must remain valid throughout employment. Applicable renewals may include First Aid/CPR, AODA, WHMIS, Smart Serve, and Use of Force training.

Training must be completed through Stay Safe or an LTS-approved provider. Training costs are the responsibility of the employee.

Shift Schedule:

The position follows a rotating schedule. Shifts may include weekends and holidays.

• 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Wednesday
• 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Thursday
• 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Friday
• 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM
• Saturday
• 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Two-Week Rotation:

• Week A: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – ON; Wednesday and Thursday – OFF.
• Week B: Wednesday and Thursday – ON;

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – OFF.

Compensation:

• Base Rate: $17.75/hour.
• Courses Premium: Additional $0.80/hour when all required certifications are valid and active, subject to applicable company requirements.

The final hourly rate depends on the applicable premiums and approved pay structure.
