In this role, you will be working directly with the control team to define requirements and design next generation hardware and software topology for optimization product line. This role is critical to our initiative of unifying multiple controller platforms into a single Soft PLC platform, enabling advanced control features, improving system performance, and reducing overall operational costs.
The Control Engineer will be responsible for migrating legacy applications to the new platform, supporting platform integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability and scalability. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic technology initiatives that directly impact product performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term business growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead application migration activities for legacy control systems to the unified Soft PLC platform.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure reliable integration, testing, and performance optimization.
- Support cross-functional teams including platform development, service, and production to enable seamless deployment and scalability.
- Support the migration of legacy control applications to the unified Soft PLC platform.
- Work with platform development and product engineering teams to create and monitor migration plans for assigned applications.
- Coordinate changes to control logic, configuration, and system documentation to ensure smooth integration.
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure performance and reliability.
- Support the implementation of advanced control features and system enhancements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create and monitor development and rollout plans for new platform capabilities.
- Coordinate changes to control architecture, firmware, and network configurations.
- Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
