The E-Volunteer’s Role

As a Research Advisor, you will support Asociación Kallpa’s research on the socioeconomic inclusion of young people with disabilities in Peru. • Refine data collection tools, such as surveys, interviews, or focus group guides, to ensure they are clear, inclusive, and accessible.
  • Guide the Kallpa team on ethical, consistent, and inclusive use of research instruments.
  • Support a simple database or data organization framework for managing and analyzing findings.
  • Advise on interpreting results and identifying key insights related to disability inclusion and youth employment.
  • Review the draft report and provide feedback to strengthen clarity, recommendations, and practical use.

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, anthropology, sociology, international development, disability studies, public policy, or a related field.
  • Advanced Spanish skills, including the ability to review technical documents and provide written feedback.

Essential Background:

  • Experience with social research, ideally related to disability inclusion, youth employment, socioeconomic inclusion, gender equality, or community development.
  • Experience with research methods, data collection tools, data analysis, database development, or results reporting.
  • Ability to provide constructive remote guidance and collaborate across cultures and time zones.
