Job description

Adecco is currently hiring an X-Ray Operator for a full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with experience operating complex manufacturing equipment who enjoys working in a structured, high-volume production environment focused on quality and efficiency.
In this position, you will be responsible for setting up and operating specialized equipment to produce high-quality products according to detailed drawings, procedures, and process documentation. You will monitor process controls, support production output, and ensure consistency in product quality while maintaining tight production schedules. The role also involves inventory tracking, equipment setup, and supporting other areas of manufacturing when needed.

Salary: $19/hour
Location: Ottawa, ON
Schedule: Day Shifts

Responsibilities

Set up and operate equipment to manufacture high-quality products according to drawings and process documentation
Maximize line productivity while maintaining quality standards
Monitor process controls and inputs, including Statistical Process Control and process optimization
Conduct product inspections according to established procedures
Use PC-based software tools for equipment setup and maintaining production databases
Load and unload feeders
Support inventory management and cycle counting activities
Assist in mechanical assembly, packaging, and other production areas when required
Maintain accurate records and support production efficiency
Follow all safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Minimum 3 years of experience operating complex automated equipment or processes
High School Diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent
Completion of a 26-week college electronics assembly course is required
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment
Ability to follow technical documentation and procedures accurately
Experience in manufacturing or production environments is an asset
Good computer skills and ability to work with production software tools
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
