• Consistent full-time hours within a stable and growing sector of the automotive industry.
• Opportunity to work with an industry-leading employer using modern material handling equipment.
• Comprehensive onboarding and on-site safety training tailored to automotive manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a propane counterbalance forklift to transport materials, parts, and finished automotive components across the facility.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trailers, flatbeds, and storage racks accurately.
• Supply production and assembly lines with raw materials in a timely manner to maintain continuous workflow.
• Stack and organize pallets, containers, and materials in designated storage zones according to facility safety layouts.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections on the propane forklift, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
• Verify inventory documentation, shipping manifests, and product labels to ensure correct stock placement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in compliance with automotive manufacturing safety regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with production supervisors, material handlers, and other logistics team members to meet daily throughput targets.

Qualifications
• Valid external forklift operator license or certification (specifically for propane counterbalance forklifts) is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working as a forklift operator or material handler, ideally within an automotive or heavy manufacturing environment.
• Absolute flexibility to work a mandatory rotating shift schedule (days, afternoons, and nights) changing every two weeks.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role, including safely mounting/dismounting equipment and lifting up to 50 lbs if necessary.
• Reliable transportation to attend shifts at the Guelph, Ontario facility punctually.
• Strong track record of reliability, punctuality, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
