What youll be doing
As a valued member of the Contract Management Procurement team at CIBC you will play a critical role in facilitating the processing of commercial contracts between the CIBC Group of Companies and Third-Party Suppliers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all contracts are accurately documented and maintained within a centralized repository supporting organizational transparency and compliance. The Sr. Analyst Contract Management will be responsible for r eviewing interpreting and processing commercial contracts ensuring all documentation is accurately captured and stored. Support the onboarding process for new suppliers ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Maintain and update contract data to ensure integrity and accuracy for ongoing business needs. Capture financial data to support timely and accurate regulatory reporting requirements. Respond to inquiries within the teams mailbox ensuring prompt and professional communication. Adhere to established processes and procedures while actively identifying opportunities for efficiency and quality enhancements. Participate in quarterly Saturday morning sessions to support new software releases and system upgrades as required.

How youll succeed
- Analytical - Handle difficult or unusual problems or requests analyzing the issue and deciding upon the most appropriate solution. Conduct complex investigations and analyze data.
- Communication - Clearly articulate facts and recommendations when presenting ideas and solutions utilizing strong communication skills both verbal and written. Contacting business partners to discuss / clarify problems and obtain additional information and / or confirm resolution of the problem.
- Reporting - Track progress and conduct analysis of data and reports. Support the tracking and communication of team performance
- Teamwork - Prioritize organize workload and coordinate activities by collaborating to ensure deadlines are met and pending items are reviewed regularly. Assist with training of new and / or temporary staff to provide support to peers in learning and understanding process procedures and guidelines.
- Time Management Exceptional time management abilities and attention to detail.
- Technical - Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word Excel Outlook) with ability to work with Spreadsheets and formulas.
