Neobridge is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst professionals for contract opportunities in Ontario. Our ideal candidate is an experienced data professional with a passion for turning data into actionable business insights and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Position Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional business teams to collect, process, and analyze data, providing insights to guide business strategy and optimize performance. This role requires a hands-on individual who can manipulate large datasets, visualize insights effectively, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various internal and external sources.
Conduct detailed data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and key metrics.
Work with business units to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support project teams with data-driven insights.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing recommendations based on findings.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout the analysis process.

Technical Requirements

Experience : 5+ years as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

SQL : Advanced SQL skills for querying, transforming, and managing data across large datasets.

Data Visualization : Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to create compelling reports and dashboards.

Excel : Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other data manipulation functions.

Scripting Languages : Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.

Statistical Knowledge : Strong understanding of statistical analysis techniques, such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and time-series analysis.

Bonus Requirements

Big Data Tools : Familiarity with big data frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

Cloud Experience : Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is an asset.

ETL Tools : Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., Alteryx, Apache NiFi, Informatica) for data extraction, transformation, and loading is desirable.

Qualifications and Skills

Education : Bachelors degree or equivelent in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and deliver clear, actionable insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Proven experience in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
