Overview

The Field Service Technician provides on-site service and support to our existing customers, performing timely and high-quality repairs, warranty service, maintenance, and product installations. This role requires regular travel and is essential in upholding product reliability and delivering exceptional customer service to our established client base.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Professional service and installation of CNC Router Machines.
  • Trains customers on CNC Router Machines.
  • Resolves product and service-related concerns.
  • Provides customer telephone and online support.
  • Conducts on-site service calls.
  • Provides guidance and support to customers.
  • Works with engineers on product development and system upgrades.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma related to Electrical/Electronic Controls or related field required.
  • Experience with CAD-based design software and/or computer science programs.
  • Experience with high voltages an asset.
  • Experience in a technical role, preferably troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience in customer facing roles, including equipment demonstrations and end-user training.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Passport and able to travel throughout North America without restriction.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of work time with availability to work evenings and weekends when required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to positively represent the Company.
