As a Director of Consulting Services, you'll expand CGI's presence across New Brunswick, build trusted relationships with senior leaders, and guide clients through modernization, cloud, AI, and enterprise transformation initiatives. This is an onsite leadership role based in Fredericton, NB.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
What You'll Do
Client Leadership & Strategic Advisory
. Serve as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor for key client accounts
. Understand client missions, challenges, and industry trends to shape high‑value solutions
. Partner with executive leaders to translate strategy into actionable consulting and technology initiatives
Business Development & Growth
. Own the regional growth strategy — identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
. Lead proposals, executive presentations, and contract negotiations
. Collaborate across CGI practices to bring forward innovative, cross‑functional solutions
Engagement Oversight & Delivery Excellence
. Oversee delivery of complex consulting and technology programs
. Ensure engagements are delivered on time, within scope, and achieving measurable outcomes
. Proactively manage client expectations and resolve delivery challenges
. Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and security requirements
. Guide clients through governance, operating model, and risk‑mitigation strategies
Team Leadership & Enablement
. Lead, inspire, and develop a multidisciplinary consulting team
. Mentor emerging leaders and foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and performance
. Build team cohesion through shared success, coaching, and client impact stories
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. 10+ years in IT or business consulting, including 5+ years in a leadership role
. Proven ability to build client trust, grow accounts, and deliver impactful solutions
. Strong network within New Brunswick's public and/or private sectors
. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development and client success
. Experience managing full sales lifecycles and proficiency with CRM tools
. Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
. Experience in management consulting, project delivery, or technology strategy (AI, data, digital) is an asset
. Willingness to travel within Atlantic Canada (approx. 10%)
