What will your typical day look like?

As an Oracle HCM professional, you will be part of a collaborative team that spans across Canada. Your main responsibilities will involve engaging with the clients directly and analyzing HR technology issues faced by them and developing effective solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud functionality, as well as a strong knowledge of benefits processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating functional design documents, configuring the system, conducting comprehensive testing to ensure accuracy and functionality, and developing support models to meet current and future business needs. Your involvement will extend throughout the entire implementation lifecycle of Oracle HCM projects, allowing you to effectively manage our clients' needs.

About the team

Deloitte’s Canadian Oracle Human Resources Transformation (Oracle HRT) is a growing practice with 75 consultants located across the country. Together with over HCM 2,500 consultants globally, we proudly serve clients in Canada and around the world. We are recognized by industry analysts as the World’s Leading HR Transformation Practice and by Oracle as their #1 HCM Partner. Training and certification are very important to us. We have consultants skilled in all facets of Human Resources Management: Absence Management, Benefits, Compensation, Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, and Talent Management. We are also trained all along our careers in our Deloitte Project Tools and Methodologies. We work in dynamic and challenging environments within a firm dedicated to helping us be the best that we can be.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • You have 6-8 years of hands-on experience in implementing Oracle HCM Benefits Cloud. This includes understanding the benefits process, configure benefit plans, including plan types, coverage levels, rates and eligibility rules, in Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation of Oracle HCM Benefits within Canadian legislation.
  • Familiarity with benefits interfaces and integrations with other modules like Core HR, Time and Labor, Absences, and Payroll as well as third party vendors.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, understand their requirements, and translate them into system configurations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks, even in situations where priorities may change.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members within the project and the organization.
  • Flexible to travel to the client site.
  • Flexibility to provide coverage in the client's time zone, extending support beyond your own time zone.
  • Nice to have: Oracle Benefits Cloud Certification
