Elementary Coach/Tutor/Teacher Wanted

We are currently seeking part-time teacher-tutors for a role in our learning centre at Oxford Learning Halifax. This position is perfect for anyone who loves working with students, enjoys teaching the ins and outs of language and social studies and is passionate about helping others build their skills in these areas. Our hours count! Gain valuable teaching experience!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching up to 3 students at a time, following our proven teaching methodologies
• Providing personalized instruction in French and English
• Filling out post-lesson notes and communicating student progress
• Maintaining a friendly, encouraging, and professional demeanor at all times

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
• Prior experience coaching or tutoring
• Strong English & French written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work with students at different levels

• Evenings
• Monday to Thursday 4pm - 7pm or 4pm - 8:30pm
• Saturday availability 9:30am - 2pm
