About our client:
Our client is a leader in their industry, with multiple locations, and is looking to bring on a Payroll and benefits administrator.

About the role:
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will report into the finance team, and will be responsible for full cycle payroll in a stand alone role.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now
  • Manage remittances, ROEs, and year-end filings (T4s, EHT, WSIB)
  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports (earnings, deductions, taxes, leaves)
  • Maintain accurate payroll data (wages, benefits, pensions)
  • Reconcile payroll and group benefits accounts; support audits
  • Monitor payroll costs and assist with budgeting/forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies
  • Collaborate with HR

About the candidate:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience and proficiency using Payroll systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now
  • PCP (payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is a strong asset
