About our client:
Our client is a leader in their industry, with multiple locations, and is looking to bring on a Payroll and benefits administrator.

About the role:
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist will report into the finance team, and will be responsible for full cycle payroll in a stand alone role.

Main responsibilities include:

Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now
Manage remittances, ROEs, and year-end filings (T4s, EHT, WSIB)
Prepare and analyze payroll reports (earnings, deductions, taxes, leaves)
Maintain accurate payroll data (wages, benefits, pensions)
Reconcile payroll and group benefits accounts; support audits
Monitor payroll costs and assist with budgeting/forecasting
Ensure compliance with legislation and internal policies
Collaborate with HR

About the candidate:

5+ years’ experience in a similar role
Experience and proficiency using Payroll systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now
PCP (payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is a strong asset
