Job description
Can you handle heavy labour? Have you worked as a mover previously or in a heavy labour position within a warehouse industry?
Would you describe yourself as hard-working, reliable, and someone who enjoys a physical job?
We are looking for 1 person to work for a temporary assignment in the East End.

Position: Material Handler
Mandate: Contract
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
Salary: $20/h
Location: Gloucester, Ottawa East

Advantages
Day shift- 7:30 AM-4 PM
Monday to Friday- no weekend work
$20 an hour
Competitive pay

Responsibilities
- Load and unload delivery trucks
- Ability to handle 12-foot-long boxes that can weigh up to 90 pounds
- Operating Palette jack and/or jigger
- Assisting customers in loading vehicles
- Order Picking
- Other general labour duties assigned
- Keeping the work area clean

Qualifications
- Enjoys a fast-paced environment
- Adapts under pressure
- Experience on a Forklift is an asset
- Physically fit for the job
