Our client in midtown Toronto is seeking to hire a Lead Software Engineer for a full time hybrid position (on subway line).
About the Opportunity
The dev stack is Python/Django/VueJS/AWS
This role will participate in coding (60%) as well as design/architecture, setting dev standards and best practices, assignment of tasks to developers and other Technical Lead activities (40%)
We are looking for someone who still wants to be hands-on with coding but has done architecture and small team leadership
About You
Senior level development experience with Python full stack development (front end VueJS preferred)
AWS, Docker experience
Experience with design/architecture and managing best development practices for complex software systems including REST APIs
Experience with technical leadership of small dev teams (including tooling, product architecure, etc)
Good communication skills
Ability to commute to midtown Toronto office 2 days/week (in summers 1 day/week and 4 day work week)
