Role Description

This is a contract, hybrid role for a Mortgage Agent based in the Greater Toronto Area, with flexibility to work partially from home.

Responsibilities include:

Guiding clients through mortgage applications and financing options.
Assessing clients’ financial profiles and recommending suitable mortgage products.
Working with lenders and other professionals to move applications through approval and funding.
Building lasting client relationships and developing referral partnerships.
Growing your business through marketing, networking, and client retention.
Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of mortgage industry experience.
Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lending requirements, and the application process.
Ability to assess client creditworthiness and financing eligibility.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
An interest in marketing, networking, and business development.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
A client-first mindset and a commitment to learning and growing your business.
