Job Responsibilities
- Product Sourcing & Purchasing : Research, source, and purchase high-quality products and materials, ensuring timely delivery at competitive prices.
- Supplier Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Management : Work closely with key stakeholders including Production, Maintenance and Operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability and minimizing excess inventory.
- Market Analysis : Continuously monitor market trends and industry changes, identifying new suppliers or cost-saving opportunities.
- Order Management : Create purchase orders, monitor order status, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Cost Control : Review supplier invoices, analyze pricing trends, and collaborate with finance to ensure that budget guidelines are adhered to.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure that products meet company quality standards and resolve any issues with defective or non-conforming goods.
- Reporting & Documentation : Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor communications, and inventory levels; prepare purchasing reports for management.
- Receiving and issuing parts and cycle counting to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability and minimizing excess inventory.
