Job Description : Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading and unloading equipment and packages on UPS aircraft. He / she may also perform other tasks as assigned on the ramp and inside the warehouse in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Learn and properly execute the methods for working on the ramp and inside the warehouse.
  • Unload and load UPS aircraft.

Qualifications :

  • Possess valid Alberta Class 5 Non GDL Driver License.
  • Able to clear 5 year Extended Background Check.
  • Available to work Tuesday to Friday starting at 6 : 50am and Saturday starting at 7 : 30am, up to 5 hours per day .
  • Ramp or Warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to get an airport RAIC (Existing RAIC or D / A an asset)
  • Good Organizational and Multi-tasking skills
  • Able to follow set and standard procedures
  • Able to work well with others
  • Able to work under minimal supervision
  • Able to regularly lift up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted
  • Able to maneuver packages up to 150-lbs (68-kg) assisted
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced physically-demanding ramp and warehouse environment
  • Comfortable working in various frequently changing weather conditions
  • Comfortable working inside confined spaces in vehicles
  • Must have reliable transportation

    • The successful candidate will be required to obtain an airport pass (RAIC) upon starting the position. A D / A for operating equipment on the ramp will be required later in the employment. He / she will be working in an outdoor environment and must be able to adjust to changing weather conditions throughout the course of their shift.
