Senior Manager - Network Management, Sustainment & Control (GWO)

Is this role right for you?

In this role, you will :

  • Primary relationship and escalation point of contact on behalf of GWO Business Line for our Custodians & Depositories and provide support for Business in strategic decision making with regards to new business and market expansion.
  • Conduct routine Service review sessions with Custodians and Depositories.
  • Assists in identifying and analyzing operational risk related to current and potential business.
  • Bridge the relationships between external and internal stakeholders to maintain global operational and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with Internal / External Auditors to support them on interim and year-end Audit requirements.
  • Lead projects that require assistance from Network Management.
  • Responsible for monitoring the communications from CSDs in terms of changes in market & regulations and proactively assess the business impact.
  • Create an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations in the respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to various risk areas Operational risk, regulatory / compliance risk, AML / ATF risk and Business Conduct governed under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML / ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Build a high-performance environment. Implement people strategy that will attract and retain talents as well as develop and motivate the team by fostering an inclusive work environment, communicating vision / values / business strategy, and managing succession.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have :

  • 6-8 years of experience in financial services with focus on Capital Markets or related function.
  • Prior experience in Network Management preferred.
  • A deep understanding of financial markets, the players and custody / cash products and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry initiatives, developments, and their implications for a Global banking organization.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects / deliverables simultaneously.
  • Prior Leadership experience

Work Arrangement : This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
