Unlocking Financial Excellence : Your Role as a Financial Dynamo!
1. Financial Oversight
- Review expenses, supplier invoices, and customer credits.
- Import and resolve transactions from the ERP system.
- Provide technical assistance to A / R and A / P clerks.
2. Reconciliation Expertise
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements (Canadian, US, UK).
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
3. Records Management
Maintain supplier and customer profiles in the ERP system.
4. Financial Reporting
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis, Budgeting.
5. Tax Compliance
- Complete HST and VAT returns.
- Assist with government remittances.
6. Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to company policies.
- Implement effective financial controls.
7. Process Efficiency
- Identify and implement improvements.
- Streamline accounting procedures.
8. Collaborative Approach
- Uphold company values.
- Foster respectful communication and collaboration.
9. CFO's Right hand :
- Tackle additional duties as instructed by the CFO.
- Participate in special projects.
Qualifications :
- Experience : At least 5 years in finance roles, handling accounts receivable / payable, bank reconciliations, and bill payments.
- Certification : An accounting designation would be a huge plus!
- Training : You've completed at least one year of formal accounting training.
- Principles : Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Tech-Savvy : Previous experience with accounting software like Sage or QuickBooks.
