We are searching for a strong and driven Operations Process Manager to take our process to the next level. In partnering with the CEO, CFO, Production Manager, and Human Resources, this individual has a strong background in risk assessments, gap analyses, and process implementation. They will help structure our day-to-day practices amongst all teams to define a clear workflow, and manage the implementation of these processes.
This individual will oversee the implementation of processes, work flow, and management of leads and supervisors to ensure we adhere to all new changes. This individual can lead with autonomy by identifying gaps, preparing proposals for change, implementing processes, and maintaining work flow. This individual is focused on optimizing and overseeing the company’s business processes, with exemplary attention to detail while possessing the ability to communicate well and on time.
Responsibilities :
Design and document current and future state processes
Determine departmental training strategies and documentation requirements
Partner with internal teams to establish and align on project scope, deliverables, roles and / responsibilities, and timelines
Write and approve standards, SOPs, and work instructions
Construct and manage processes
Execution oversight / mitigation of risks, issue resolution, contingency planning, and status reporting
Manage all phases of project / process management including idea generation / analysis, feasibility, definition, planning, prioritization, implementation, and close out
Monitor operational performance : Lead, coach, and manage team performance
Partner with internal teams to provide new ideas for superior customer experience and innovative options to deliver customer centric solutions
Communicate early and often with company stakeholders
Manage goals, and communicate successes and areas of improvement
Resolve issues in a timely manner, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Work with cross-functional teams and influence others to work toward a common goal
Strong collaboration with CEO, CFO, Human Resources, and Production Manager to identify process optimization and improvement opportunities
Skills and Qualifications :
Ability to manage a team of up to 20 leads and supervisors who perform business operations
Strong ability to document and enhance existing processes
Strong change management skills with continuous adjustment to new technologies and processes
Ability to gather data across businesses, formulating business requirements and strategies to address numerous gaps
Post-Secondary education in a related field is required : Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Engineering, Management, Finance and Accounting, etc.
Ability to implement complex solutions across various teams
Minimum of 5 years of increasingly complex experience in process design and evaluation in a manufacturing environment
Can commute via own vehicle
Strong ability to record detailed documentation, and maintain an organized workflow
