Job Description

ADGA is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support a Department of National Defence initiative within the National Capital Region.

This role requires a highly experienced business consulting professional with a strong background in analyzing complex business processes, identifying opportunities for organizational improvement, developing performance measures, and supporting the implementation of business transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders in a complex Defence environment to assess financial, operational, and systems-related processes and develop practical recommendations that improve organizational effectiveness and performance.

This is a proactive recruitment initiative, with potential start dates in the coming weeks or months, contingent on contract award.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyzing, evaluating, and developing complex business processes, including financial, operational, and systems-related processes.
• Identifying organizational and project opportunities to improve and streamline business processes.
• Conducting business process assessments and developing recommendations for process improvements.
• Identifying and evaluating critical success factors, performance parameters, and performance measurements.
• Developing and supporting the implementation of business improvement processes and programs.
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions.
• Developing performance metrics, measurement frameworks, and related reporting.
• Preparing and delivering professional project documentation, including reports, presentations, plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and approval documents.
• Communicating findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities to stakeholders and project leadership.
• Supporting continuous improvement and organizational effectiveness initiatives in a complex Government of Canada environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5+ years (Intermediate) or 10+ years (Senior) of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst performing responsibilities consistent with a senior-level business consulting role.
• A minimum of 5+ years of direct experience performing business consulting activities related to business process analysis, improvement, performance measurement, and implementation.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and evaluating business processes, including financial, operational, and/or systems-related processes.
• Demonstrated experience identifying organizational or project opportunities for business process improvement and streamlining.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and evaluating critical success factors, performance parameters, and performance measurements.
• Demonstrated experience supporting the development and implementation of business improvement processes and programs.
• Experience conducting business process assessments and developing recommendations for improvement.
• Experience developing performance metrics and performance measurement reports.
• Experience preparing professional deliverables such as reports, presentations, plans, schedules, work breakdown structures, and approval documentation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Additional Information

• Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Secret (Level II) Canadian Federal Government Security clearance, VCR’s and Controlled Goods clearances.
  • If you do not currently hold the required security clearance ADGA can initiate the clearance process on your behalf; however, you will not be eligible for hire until the clearance has been successfully obtained.
• The posted salary reflects an employee compensation model and is flexible based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and level, from Intermediate to Senior. Consultant rates will be adjusted accordingly. We will consider candidates for either employment or consultant arrangements. Consultants will be required to hold a Controlled Goods clearance and Insurance.
