Job Summary
We are seeking an Assembler for a direct hire opportunity in Burlington, Ontario within the automotive parts manufacturing industry. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented candidate who enjoys hands-on production work, assembly tasks, and contributing to a team-focused manufacturing environment.
The Assembler will support the production of connectors, harnesses, wiring assemblies, and related components while following work orders, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role is ideal for someone with strong manual dexterity, a positive attitude, and an interest in building experience in automotive manufacturing. The workplace offers a steady day shift, accessible location, supportive team environment, and the opportunity to develop practical assembly skills in a stable production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble connectors, harnesses, wiring assemblies, and related automotive components by hand or using small hand-operated equipment.
- Read and follow work orders, instructions, and product specifications to complete assembly tasks accurately.
- Test, calibrate, and fit parts and mechanisms to meet required tolerances and quality standards.
- Identify components or units that do not meet test or tolerance requirements and complete basic repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all workplace safety rules.
- Perform other general production and assembly duties as assigned.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $19.00 to $19.76 per hour.
- Job type: Direct hire.
