Our client is looking for an Operations Officer - Toronto for a 6 months contract in Toronto. This position is hybrid role (two days a week).

Pay rate : $24.74 / Hour

Rotational shifts : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm- Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Communicating to different lines of business or internal partners
• Working within tight deadlines to meet deliverables
• Reconciliating of the Firm’s CDN & US trade settlements and various Suspense accounts accurately identifying and reporting trade breaks to the appropriate parties on or before Service Agreement requirements.
• Ensuring that all errors are investigated promptly, and corrections are processed accurately with proper authorization being obtained.
• Corresponding with internal partners and external counter parties daily to resolve discrepancies.
• Identifying act, and escalating immediate concerns and or problems that are encountered with the daily reconciliation.
• Ensuring your daily work kept for audit purposes is accessible, organized and filed according to Wealth record retention policy.
• Ensuring necessary procedures, due diligence, quality controls and quality verifications are followed to support the accuracy of all transactions at all times.
• Ensuring issues are handled appropriately by performing quality investigations, escalating issues timely when necessary.
• Sharing in the responsibility for delivering a consistent Operational Excellence by following Framework and through own accountabilities & objectives.
• Demonstrating flexibility with working environment changes and requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma
• Complex reconciliation experience- 5 years
• Major Banking experience
• Deposits experience CTS / DTC

Nice to have :

• Undergrad / Diploma business diploma
• D experience
