Base Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) / CFTS
Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this position requires individuals who are organized and self- starter. Duties include those of performing aircraft maintenance, organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility.
The position does involve shift work including days, evenings and weekends.as well as an on-call rotation.
Canadian Helicopters is currently seeking Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintainers (AME’s and Apprentices) for fixed base work in Southport Manitoba.
- Potential to migrate to the FAcT contract;
- Potential to work on brand new, state of the art, Airbus H135 aircraft in the future;
Qualifications
- Hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and / or M2 rated AME license;
- Hold or have previously held ACA on the Bell 206, or;
- Hold or have previously held Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on the Bell 412;
- Hold or have previously held Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on the Bell 212 (an asset).
- Preference given to those with twin engine IFR experience;
- Be customer focused and a team player;
- Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;
- Be able to obtain access to controlled goods approval.
