JobDescription : Our client a manufacturing company iscurrently seeking a Controller to oversee financial operations. TheController will play a key role in financial planning andreporting.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daytoday operations of theaccounting department.
- Lead the monthend andyearend close processes including preparation of financialstatements balance sheet reconciliations and varianceanalysis.
- Develop and implement financialpolicies procedures and internal controls to safeguard companyassets and ensure compliance with regulatoryrequirements.
- Manage the annual budgeting andforecasting process collaborating with department heads toestablish financial targets and monitor performance againstgoals.
- Provide strategic financial analysis andinsights to senior management identifying opportunities for costoptimization revenue enhancement and riskmitigation.
- Lead the preparation of financialreports for stakeholders including management board of directorsand external auditors.
- Manage cash flowtreasury functions and banking relationships to optimize liquidityand maximize returns on investments.
- Ensurecompliance with tax laws and regulations including preparation andfiling of corporate tax returns and coordination of tax planningstrategies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams on special projects such as system implementations processimprovements and strategic initiatives.
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; CPAdesignation required
- 7 years of accountingexperience including managerial roles
- Thoroughknowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
