We are seeking an OT with direct experience in MVA rehabilitation, WSIB files, HCAI billing, OCF documentation, functional assessments, and return-to-work planning. This role goes beyond clinical work—you will help build the entire program, including workflows, documentation templates, insurer communication processes, and referral pathways.

You will work closely with our physicians, physio team, and admin staff to integrate OT services into our broader clinic operations.

This is a contract position.

  • Manage OCF-18s, OCF-3 collaboration, OCF-21 billing, Form 1s, and all HCAI submissions

  • Provide in-clinic and community-based OT assessments and treatment

  • Conduct functional, cognitive, ergonomic, and return-to-work evaluations

  • Coordinate with insurers, adjusters, legal representatives, and case managers

  • Build internal processes, referral pathways, and documentation templates

  • Train clinic teams on MVA and WSIB workflows

  • Contribute to program growth and quality improvement

Qualifications

  • Registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with COTO

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in MVA or WSIB rehabilitation (mandatory)

  • Strong knowledge of SABS, HCAI, OCF forms, and insurer communication

  • Experience with functional assessments, cognitive rehab, and return-to-work planning

  • Ability to work independently and build new programs from the ground up

  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University or equivalent.

  • Membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists is an asset.

  • You will also have:

    • Skills in technology and experience with various EMR's and Microsoft Teams.
    • Ability to work in unique, fast-paced environments.
    • Good knowledge OT theory and practice.
    • Excellent interpersonal and listening communication, and teamwork skills.
    • Excellent critical thinking, synthesis, organizational and decision-making skills.
    • High adaptability capacity.
    • Registration in other provinces is an asset.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation (salary or fee-split model)

  • Full administrative support, marketing, and referral flow

  • Opportunity to lead and shape a high-demand OT program

  • Multidisciplinary team environment (GPs, specialists, physio, social work, nursing)

  • Flexible scheduling and hybrid options depending on case type
