Looking for an opportunity to grow, learn and flourish as an Occupational Therapist?
We are currently seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team!
Responsibilities :
- Conduct Occupational Therapy In-Home Assessments to assess Attendant Care Needs (Form 1) and assistive devices
- Provide treatment with Implementation of functional and cognitive strategies and techniques as appropriate
- Demonstrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion principles with all clients and family members
- Document accident benefits initial and progress reports
- Supervise rehab support worker with carry through of Occupational Therapy goals
- Provide education to clients / family; follow-up with progress with respect to SMART goals
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and participate in meetings
- Facilitate rehabilitation of client with cognitive, emotional or physical impairments
- Monitor and assess client rehabilitative programs
- Convey treatment results and client progress to an interdisciplinary team
- Organize and update client records
Qualifications :
- Valid Occupational Therapy Insurance from respective association (i.e. CAOT, OSOT)
- Valid Ontario Driver's License
- Previous experience in the auto insurance sector is an asset
- Passion to help and motivate others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
