Job description

The Manager, Digital Marketing Technology is a dynamic role that combines business acumen with technical expertise. Serving as a subject matter expert, relationship manager, and technology leader, you will oversee the implementation and integration of marketing technologies within our client's Wealth Management division. This includes driving the strategy and execution of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud stack to deliver cutting-edge programs that enhance client and advisor engagement while optimizing the user experience.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to manage the end-to-end deployment of new Salesforce features and functionality. From gathering requirements and defining use cases to implementing solutions in live environments, you will be a critical driver of innovation. Your ability to exhibit thought leadership, technical proficiency, and project management expertise will be instrumental in guiding cross-functional teams from project inception to successful completion.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Technology, you will also manage key relationships with senior stakeholders in Marketing, Digital, and IT. Your impact will be measured by business outcomes, team engagement, and your ability to deliver an exceptional client experience.

This is a 12-month contract, which requires the Manager, Digital Marketing Technology to work 3 days onsite in our client's office in the Financial District in Toronto.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Solutions : Create and present proof of concepts, integrations, queries, automations, journeys, and reports to meet business goals.
  • Be a Marketing Automation Expert : Share insights on industry trends and internal best practices to elevate marketing technology strategies.
  • Bridge Business and Technology : Translate business requirements into actionable technical plans, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends : Identify opportunities to enhance existing solutions and integrate emerging technologies.
  • Foster Collaboration : Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and business partners through effective communication.
  • Ensure Seamless Integration : Manage and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Sales Cloud / Financial Services Cloud.
  • Document and Share Knowledge : Present technical solutions and project updates to stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
  • Maintain Compliance and Privacy : Ensure all solutions adhere to data protection regulations and best practices, safeguarding sensitive customer information during integrations and campaign execution.
  • Qualifications

  • Experience :
  • 3+ years in digital marketing, campaign management, account management, or project management.
  • 3+ years managing or delivering marketing automation initiatives (email, SMS / Push messaging, programmatic marketing, or digital advertising).
  • Technical Expertise :
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ideally having certifications such as Marketing Cloud Consultant, Email Specialist, or Administrator.
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with Ampscript and Server-Side JavaScript.
  • Hands on experience writing SQL queries
  • Strong understanding of API development and integrations.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and authentication processes.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills :
  • Hands-on experience integrating marketing platforms with Salesforce CRM or similar systems.
  • Familiarity with tools like Marketing Cloud Connector for data synchronization.
