Job DescriptionThe Market Research Analyst will provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making, identify market opportunities and trends, and improve competitiveness. The Market Research Analyst will collect and interpret quantitative and qualitative market data, generate reports, and present findings to management. QualificationsUniversity Degree in Business, Marketing or other relevant disciplineAbility to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.Strong communication and presentation skills.Excellent knowledge of statistical packages, databases, and Microsoft Office.Expertise in conducting research through search engines.Adequate knowledge of data collection methods. Working knowledge of data warehousing, modelling and mining.Strong analytical and critical thinking.Desire to learn about a wide variety of investment products and the technologies and methods used in the delivery of those products. ResponsibilitiesCollect data on investment products, competition and market conditions, and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.Construct and maintain a central database for recording market data. You will be expected to monitor the quality of the data, and continually implement improvements.Research new and existing investment product markets, consumer trends and demographics, and competition.Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing / business models, sales and methods of operation.Remain informed on regulatory matters that may affect investment products and portfolios. #AB1
