About the Client
Our client is sourcing a Manager, External Reporting, for an 18-month contract.
About the Opportunity
- Lead the preparation and filing of external financial statements and MD&A, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, providing guidance to internal teams on appropriate application and interpretation to ensure consistency across the organization
Collaborate with external auditors to address and resolve issues proactively, ensuring timely completion of audits and accurate financial reporting
Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards, leading the organization's compliance with emerging reporting requirements at a national and international level
Provide detailed financial analysis, reporting insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to align financial performance with business objectives
About You
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Professional Accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA, or international designation) is required
5+ years of experience in external reporting
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
