The Registered Nurse :
- Provides nursing care to Long-term Care patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
- Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
- Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
- Maintains and advances own clinical competence
- Participates on designated hospital committees / teams and approved research projects as assigned

Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage for this position will be $41.42 to $55.91
Shifts of work will be scheduled days, evenings, and nights; rotating from 07 : 00 to 19 : 00, 08 : 00 to 20 : 00, 19 : 00 to 07 : 00.

Orchard Haven was built in the year 2000 after much planning and hard work by many local residents. The Health Centre had been a dream for many years and it was only through the persistent efforts of these local residents that the Health Centre was finally built.
It is a very unique Health Centre in that it has combined many health care services under one roof. Adjoining the Health Centre is a 38 bed Assisted Living unit including a specialized unit for Dementia Care.
