Job Summary : To assist residents with daily routines and activities of daily living, including recreational support. The role does not include the provision of personal care to the residents.
Qualifications :
- Grade 12 Education
- Preference for experience or education in recreation or healthcare
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility, senior home, or group home will be considered an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work shift work
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must have sound interpersonal, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Compassion, integrity, maturity, respect and a positive attitude are essential attributes.

Salary Range : In accordance with the Collective Agreement between Ocean View and the Ocean View Local CUPE
Rotation : Days / Evenings / Nights / Weekends.
