Job description

Job Description

As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a multi phased program to learn every aspect of our business from shipping and receiving, to sales, operations, purchasing, account management and everything in between.

Specific phases will include (but not limited to):

Warehouse

  • A focus on warehousing procedures, shipping and receiving.

Customer Service and Proactive Sales

  • A focus on customer problem solving, relationship building with customers and vendors, and providing world class service through our trade counter.

Inside Account Management and Procurement

  • Much like the previous phase there will be a focus on customer service but now with the added element of mastering project management and understanding procurement.

Outside Account Management

  • A focus on business development and sourcing sales, expanding the customer base of the business and creating strong customer partnerships.


Qualifications

  • College and/or University degree
  • Bilingual in both French and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software and AI capabilities as it pertains to the wholesale industry
  • Positive attitude and results oriented mindset
  • Desire to continuously learn and grow
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates



Additional Information

Salary Range - $43,000 to $48,000
