Job description

Technical Product Manager

Our client is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company at the forefront of AI, telematics, and fleet technology. With a strong foundation and a mission to improve operational efficiency for mobile workforces, they are navigating an exciting growth phase. Supported by solid financial backing and a forward-thinking leadership team, the company is poised to scale its platform and deepen its market impact.

They’re seeking a Technical Product Manager to help lead that charge. This individual will guide customer-facing product development, drive the product lifecycle, and collaborate closely with engineering, design, and customer success. In this startup environment, adaptability is key—everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done. This role requires more than just product expertise; it demands someone who can engage in architectural discussions and contribute to hands-on development when needed. A strong foundation in coding and engineering is essential for success, making this a perfect fit for a technically fluent product leader passionate about solving real-world challenges with scalable solutions.

This Role Offers:

The chance to shape product strategy at a high-growth SaaS company on the cutting edge of AI and telematics.

A collaborative, fast-paced startup environment where everyone wears many hats and contributions are valued across functions.

Opportunities to work closely with leadership and have a direct impact on product direction and company growth.

Competitive base salary, generous equity offering and comprehensive benefits package.

Hybrid work environment (with development teams located in Toronto, ON).

Relocation support available for the right candidate.

Focus:

Define and evolve the product roadmap aligned with both business strategy and user feedback.

Lead customer discovery initiatives by conducting interviews, shadowing workflows, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, customer success) to translate market needs into clear product specs and user stories.

Own sprint planning, feature prioritization, and delivery timelines—balancing new feature development, infrastructure, and customer-driven initiatives.

Participate in QA and release management to ensure quality rollouts with minimal disruption.

Continuously analyze usage data and feedback to refine features and iterate quickly.

Support enterprise client engagements, providing technical context and strategic alignment in customer conversations.

Serve as a technical liaison between stakeholders and engineers, leveraging knowledge of APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

Skill Set:

5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or platform-based businesses.

Strong grasp of modern product management practices, particularly in agile environments.

Background in software engineering, computer science, or a related field (formal or equivalent experience).

Hands-on experience or fluency with JavaScript, Python, AWS, and system integrations.

Proven ability to identify problems, define solutions, and validate assumptions.

Experience leading QA efforts and collaborating with customer success teams for successful product releases.

Comfort working in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements (startup or scale-up experience preferred).

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-first mindset.

Familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma, PowerBI.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with sectors like connected vehicle technology, smart mobility solutions, or AI-driven platforms.

Technical empathy and experience bridging engineering constraints with user needs.
