Job description
Are you a strategic leader with a deep technical understanding of the electronics manufacturing world? Our client, a premier Electronics Manufacturing Service (EMS) provider, is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager to spearhead their sales and marketing efforts. As a renowned player in turn-key PCB assembly, prototype development, and low-to-mid volume PCB fabrication, our client provides a high-tech environment where innovation meets precision. In this sales & marketing leadership role, you will be the driving force behind market share growth, leveraging your expertise to position the company as the partner of choice for complex electronic solutions. This is a permanent position designed for a proactive professional who thrives on building long-term partnerships and navigating the competitive landscape of the electronics industry.

As a Sales Manager within our sales & marketing division, you will not only manage a high-performing team but also act as the primary catalyst for business development. Your deep knowledge of PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) will be essential in communicating value to engineers and procurement specialists alike. This role is perfect for a Sales Manager who excels at territory management and enjoys the challenge of balancing existing account retention with aggressive new business acquisition. By joining this team, you are stepping into a pivotal role within a globally recognized industry, supported by the recruitment expertise of Randstad, a world leader in talent solutions.

Advantages
• Competitive base salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, tailored to your professional experience.
• Lucrative variable component (commission/bonus) based on performance and market growth.
• Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to support your personal and health-related needs.
• Comprehensive vacation package that scales with your years of professional experience.
• Opportunity to work with a well-known leader in the Electronics Manufacturing Service industry.
• Continuous professional development and career coaching through Randstad’s expert recruiters.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team to achieve and exceed regional growth targets.
• Partner closely with the Director of Sales and the Account Management team to increase market share.
• Implement efficient time and territory management strategies to ensure 100% coverage of the assigned region.
• Drive a proactive approach for sales expansion by identifying untapped opportunities in the PCB/PCBA market.
• Maintain a healthy balance between nurturing existing client accounts and targeting high-value new accounts.
• Stay at the forefront of market trends, new electronic products, and competitive industry information.
• Deliver technical presentations that highlight the advantages of turn-key PCB assembly and fabrication services.
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure client requirements are met with precision.
• Prepare detailed sales forecasts and performance reports for the executive leadership team.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive and solid understanding of PCB and PCBA is strictly required for this role.
• Proven track record of success in a technical sales or sales & marketing management position.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and attend industry events.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, multi-functional team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
