Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Architect with strong Salesforce expertise to lead the migration of DevOps and release management processes from Azure DevOps to an on-premise toolset. This role will play a critical part in defining the future-state architecture, establishing best practices, and ensuring a seamless transition.

Work Mode - % Remote

Duration - 2 months with a possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end migration of DevOps and release management processes from Azure DevOps to on-premise tools including Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy, Nexus, and SonarQube
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and delivery partners (CGI team) to understand the current environment and manage a structured handover
  • Design and implement the target-state DevOps architecture within a legacy/on-premise ecosystem
  • Define and enforce DevOps standards, governance, and best practices across the Salesforce platform
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive transition and migration plan, ensuring minimal disruption to delivery timelines
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on support throughout the migration lifecycle
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management processes, and environment strategies for Salesforce deployments
  • Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and DevOps toolchains

Must-Have

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Architect with strong exposure to Salesforce environments
  • Hands-on expertise in Salesforce DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment automation
  • Deep knowledge of Azure DevOps and on-premise tools such as:
  • Bitbucket
  • Jenkins
  • uDeploy (UrbanCode Deploy)
  • Nexus
  • SonarQube
  • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise DevOps architectures
  • Demonstrated experience leadinglarge-scale migrations and transformations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams
