  • Lead and/or support the development, review, and implementation of engineering design changes, modifications, and upgrades in accordance with our client’s ECC process.

  • Perform technical assessments, field walkdowns, and evaluations to support project scope development and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and external vendors—to ensure successful delivery of engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
  • Ensure all engineering work is conducted with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned for operational events or equipment failures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all design activities and changes.
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and risk assessments as required.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to our client’s values and standards.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario, or eligible for PEO registration.
  • Design Engineer qualification (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated experience with the ECC (Engineering Change Control) process.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in the nuclear, power generation, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with our client’s engineering standards, regulatory codes, and procedures is an asset.
  • Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, AssetSuite, engineering calculation tools).
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
