Equipment Maintenance
- Installs, calibrates, repairs, and maintains department equipment as required
- Provides technical and trouble‑shouting support for testing and equipment maintenance.
- Maintains glassware by proper handling, including, appropriate washing, drying, storing, usage and inspection.
- Working knowledge of gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, and fluid analysis as required.
- Understands principles of chemical analysis, analytical and physical chemistry.
- Receives incoming samples and properly inputs customer, sample and HV equipment information into laboratory database.
- Assists the Lab Manager with sample preparations, materials handling, and traceability.
- Runs chemical tests on lab equipment as instructed by the General Manager.
- Performs other lab functions as directed by the General Manager.
- Overseeing daily operations and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with company standards, in conjunction with the General Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma / GED and Technical Diploma in a related field. A university degree and / or experience in a related field are assets
- Able to meet deadlines and simultaneously work on multiple projects as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Knowledge and experience working within an ISO17025 : 2017 accredited QMS is an asset.

Travel : Up to 5%
Physical Demands : Lifting a maximum of 50lbs on a daily. Position requires standing and using computer and / or phone for extended periods of time.
