General Summary

The Analyst, Sales Incentives & Planning is responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing incentive programs that drive sales growth, profitability, and strategic business objectives. This role delivers data-driven insights, analyzes market trends, and works closely with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Distribution) to design effective, customer-focused incentive structures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Program Design & Planning
- - Support the development of sales incentive programs aligned with business goals.
  - Prepare presentation materials for monthly incentive review meetings.
  - Provide recommendations on incentive strategies based on market conditions, competitive benchmarks, and historical performance.
  - Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure incentive programs support revenue targets and strategic priorities.
  - Send incentive program communications to stakeholders and prepare files for Kia.ca and internal portals.

Reporting & Insights
- - Build dashboards and KPI reports to track incentive performance by region, product line, and channel.
  - Prepare executive summaries highlighting insights, key findings, and recommended actions.
  - Analyze RV, competitor incentives and market trends to identify opportunities for program enhancement.
  - Utilize analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.) to support modeling, reporting, and data management.
  - Conduct variance analysis comparing forecasted versus actual incentive impacts.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience/Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
3-5 years business related experience in incentive planning, sales operations, financial analysis, or similar analytical roles, ideally in the automotive industry
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Strong Excel/Word/Power Point skills
Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
Attention to detail and deadline oriented
Familiarity with SAP an asset
Bilingual in French and English is an asset
