Job description

Job Description

Reporting to the General Accounting Supervisor, with whom they work closely, the incumbent actively participates in the monthly analysis of general ledger accounts.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Perform bank reconciliations;
  • Prepare journal entries;
  • Process billing;
  • Process accounts payable;
  • Complete petty cash and general ledger reconciliations;
  • Maintain regular communication with branch managers;
  • Provide excellent customer service;
  • Work closely with all members of the department;
  • Perform any other related duties.


Qualifications

To Join Our Team:

  • College diploma or vocational diploma (DEC or DEP) in accounting;
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar position; experience in the retail industry is considered an asset;
  • Good general understanding of computer systems and accounting software;
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles;
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work;
  • Ability to quickly adapt to different situations;
  • Ability to work simultaneously with multiple branches;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Bilingualism in English and French is required.
