Through a network of more than 25 maintenance shops, our teams deliver standardized service processes, asset management support, and technical expertise across all operating divisions. We are currently seeking a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, based out of Moncton, to join our team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults and malfunctions within heavy duty equipment systems and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace parts and/or components.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of heavy duty equipment systems.
• Test repaired systems to ensure performance within manufacturer's specifications.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Perform scheduled maintenance activities.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• Interprovincial Red Seal HDET Certificate or Registered Apprentice.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Working safely is a condition of employment.
