The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with BRC’s motivated and engaging Team where inclusivity, diversity, and positive work experiences are our top priority.

We have an immediate opening for a Product Solutions Specialist in our Product Solutions Department. The ideal candidate will build creative furniture solutions, prepare quotes for our Dealers, and liaise with Client Services and Design Engineers throughout the process.

This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical design, quoting, and customer interaction. The Product Solutions Specialist will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of service across all projects.

Requirements

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Prepare furniture layout drawings, renderings, 3D drawings, and complete proposal packages
  • Create quotes by identifying customer requirements including scope, budget, and competitive information
  • Audit specifications against drawings to produce order-ready documentation and consult with Dealers on revisions
  • Effectively communicate product specifications, design intent, and overall value of solutions
  • Prepare accurate orders including specifications, quantities, pricing, discounts, and service requirements
  • Manage large and complex projects, including review of documentation, specifications, and product strategy
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing work while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with Engineering on layout, design, and space planning of furniture specifications
  • Attend client planning meetings to understand needs and develop tailored furniture solutions
  • Provide technical design guidance and respond to routine and specialized product inquiries
  • Verify final approval drawings against specifications and obtain customer sign-off
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product lines, features, pricing, and applications

  • Support new product development initiatives as required
  • Keep management informed through regular project updates
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy across all drawings, specifications, and quotes
  • Complete projects within defined timelines while managing competing priorities
  • Ensure all documentation is order-ready and meets quality standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.2 - 3 years’ experience in following areas:

  • 3–5 years of experience in office furniture, design, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software
  • Ability to modify existing drawings and create new drawings efficiently
  • Furniture knowledge is required; experience with a dealer or manufacturer is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

Working Conditions

· Manual dexterity requires desktop computers and peripherals to operate.

· Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
