Job Title : Aluminum and Steel Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder with expertise in aluminum and steel components. The ideal candidate will possess strong MIG welding skills and the ability to work in a custom environment, contributing to the production of high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fitting of aluminum and steel components.
• Execute aluminum welding using MIG techniques.
• Utilize power tools, drills, grinders, and layout tools effectively.
• Operate cutting torches and plasma cutting tools.
• Use band saw and shear equipment as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to construct components.

Work Environment

Our shop is clean, yet busy and crowded, providing an energetic work environment. Each station is assigned 1-2 welders, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. We offer day shift openings, with afternoon shifts from Monday to Thursday, 2 : 45 PM - 1 : 15 PM, with a 1.5 premium.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MILTON, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.50 / hr.
