This role involves designing and implementing automation strategies, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality testing solutions. The candidate will be required to occasionally work on-site with our client in Ottawa.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement a Tosca automation strategy and frameworkMentor team members on Tosca best practices and processesIdentify and document defects during test execution using defect tracking toolsCollaborate with clients to prioritize testing activitiesAnalyze test results to identify issues and propose solutionsProvide expert consulting and guidance on test automation implementation

Qualifications

Required : Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Tosca TestSuite, including framework design, module creation, and scriptingProficiency in writing SQL queries for data validationProficiency in writing API tests using Postman7+ years of experience in test automation across at least three projects or rolesExperience with at least two automation toolsStrong communication and consulting skillsSelf-motivated with excellent time management and attention to detailContinuous learner, adaptable to new tools and industry best practicesPreferred : Experience with Playwright and TypeScriptFamiliarity with CI / CD pipelines, DevOps, and unit testingExperience testing web and enterprise applicationsExposure to mobile testing environments (iOS and Android)
