Job description
Are you an Application Release Engineer V looking for a new opportunity?
Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?

We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: Application Release Engineer V

-Start: ASAP
-Estimated length: 12 months
-Location: Toronto
-Hybrid role: 4 days onsite

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, unit test and optimize data pipelines using Scala and Apache Spark.
- Implement transformations, aggregations, and calculations required for liquidity reporting.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale data processing jobs.
- Integrate data from multiple source systems (e.g., transactional, risk, financial data).
- Apply data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Support deployment, code reviews, and production issue resolution.
- Adhere to TD SDLC enterprise development standards, security, and governance policies.



Qualifications
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

- Scala Spark developer experience – at least 5 years

SOFT SKILLS:
1.) Strong communication skills

NICE-TO-HAVE

1.) Banking/Regulatory reporting in Banking
2.) Liquidity reporting
