Job Summary
The Program Manager at Lantronix is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional product development programs with a focus on embedded and IoT-based solutions. This role ensures alignment across multiple departments—including Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Certification, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations, and Product Management—to deliver successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Agile / hybrid methodologies and product lifecycle governance, and be capable of driving execution at both the tactical and strategic levels.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Lead multiple complex programs simultaneously, managing timelines, resource allocation, deliverables, and risk.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (Engineering, PLM, Operations, Legal, and Finance) and external customers or partners.
- Drive program-level planning, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
- Support executive reporting through high-quality dashboards, status updates, and metrics.
- Oversee project documentation, schedules, and quality reviews across the entire product lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide junior program managers and project coordinators on best practices and processes.
- Facilitate resolution of technical and business challenges across global teams.
- Ensure all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations are clearly defined and met.
- Maintain oversight of cost controls and alignment to budgetary targets.
- Continuously refine program management tools, templates, and methodologies to improve team performance.
- Collaborate with Sales and PLM to influence product strategy and ensure alignment with customer needs.
