Job Title : Cyber Security Program Manager with healthcare (PHIPA, HIPAA)

Location : Prince George, BC

Overview : One of our client is seeking a team of consultants to support the development and implementation of a comprehensive Cyber Security Program. This engagement will primarily be remote, with some possible travel to Prince George, BC.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

• Cyber Security Expertise :
• Subject matter expertise in various cyber security work streams such as risk management, vulnerability management, incident response, and compliance.
• Proven experience in the design, implementation, and management of cyber security programs.
• Expertise in industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, etc.).
• Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and security automation tools.
• Familiarity with commonly used cyber security tools, such as SIEM, endpoint detection and response (EDR), vulnerability management platforms, and firewalls.
• Experience with Healthcare Environments :
• Understanding of healthcare-specific security challenges, compliance requirements (e.g., PHIPA, HIPAA ), and best practices for protecting sensitive patient data.
• Project Management Skills :
• Experience managing or supporting large-scale cyber security projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Ability to manage resources, defines milestones, and track progress throughout the engagement.
• Strong communication skills to work with various stakeholders, including IT, senior management, and external partners.
