Job description

Sterling Fleet Outfitters exists to help companies Get More Done. Who does not want to embody that statement? Time is a finite resource. Not making the most of every minute is not in our DNA, and we don't believe it's in our customers' either. The question to ask now is: What is your “More”? Is it more billable hours on a job? More time at home with your family? Whatever it means to you, we help you and our customers accomplish it.

Sterling is where electricians, plumbers, telecom contractors, and HVAC technicians come for van and truck equipment that boosts their productivity. Some have a single vehicle, while others operate large fleets — but whether big or small, they all rely on the innovative thinking and quality workmanship we provide.

Since our launch in 2002, we've expanded to become Western Canada's premier commercial vehicle outfitter and are recognized throughout North America. We owe much of our 24 years of success to the efforts of our smart, efficient, and hardworking team members. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support our Purchasing team.

Key Benefits of Working at Sterling

  • Strong, supportive team culture with a focus on growth and learning
  • Competitive pay + bonus/profit-sharing eligibility after probation
  • Excellent medical benefits
  • Convenient location in the Langley/Surrey area of the Fraser Valley

You are a quick learner who adapts easily to new systems and processes, and you take pride in keeping information organized and reliable. You are dependable, self-sufficient, and consistently follow through on your commitments, helping to ensure smooth and efficient operations for the team.

You align with our values below:
Professional:
We lead the industry with our expertise and capabilities. We are interested and enthusiastic about our client's success
Innovative:
We look at the problem from a different angle. Nobody can solve challenges like us.
Honesty:
We tell the truth. If we make a mistake, we make it right. Do what we say we are going to do
Winners:
We work as a team, we solve challenges, we find a way to win.
Happiness:
We are respectful & we smile and show enthusiasm

What You Will Do

  • Create and issue purchase orders accurately and on time

  • Support the team with quotes, data collection, and reporting

Your Experience

  • Interest or education in business or supply chain
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
